Privacy Policy
The short version: this is a personal website. No analytics, no ads, no tracking — and your information is never sold or shared.
What I collect
- Contact form: if you send me a message, I receive your name, your email address, and your message. It's stored on this site's server so I can read it and reply. Your email address is used only to respond to your message.
- Server logs: like nearly every website, my hosting provider keeps basic technical logs (such as IP addresses and pages visited) for security and troubleshooting. I don't use these to identify or track anyone.
- Theme preference: if you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your own browser only. It's never sent to me.
Cookies
This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. A session cookie is used for the site's admin login — regular visitors just browsing the site aren't tracked.
Embedded videos
Some videos on the Videos page are embedded from YouTube or Vimeo. When you play one, those platforms may collect data according to their own privacy policies. (YouTube embeds here use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which limits tracking until you press play.)
Links to other sites
The social and payment icons in the footer link to third-party sites (Instagram, YouTube, Venmo, PayPal, and others). Those sites have their own privacy policies — this policy doesn't cover them.
Your messages
Want a message you sent me deleted? Just ask through the contact form and I'll remove it.
Changes
I may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest version.
